I feel we have fulfilled these objectives but we are
always striving to reach the highest standards within
the nursery.
This website will highlight the service that is offered
to you at Chuckles Day Nursery but in order to gain a
true feel for our nursery we would be delighted to show
you around.
Session Times
The nursery
is open from 7.30am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Sessions
Morning 7.30a.m to 1.00p.m.
Afternoon 1.00p.m to 6.00p.m.
Full day 7.30a.m to 6.00p.m.
Full time (5 full days)
Nursery

We do offer the government free 15 hours funding for all children
aged 3 years and over, if you think your child is eligible
for the free funding please contact the nursery manager
for more information.
We ask that
all the children are collected on time but if in an
emergency you are to be delayed please contact the nursery
as soon as possible as this can affect the staffing ratio
and arrangements can be made.
If someone
unknown to the staff is to collect your child we need to
be informed of this or your child will not be allowed to
leave with them.
We are closed on Bank Holidays
and the week between Christmas and new year.
The nursery has a large car park and is conveniently
situated for Dewsbury, Batley, Wakefield and the
outlying areas
Before your
child's start date with the nursery, parents and children
are invited, at an arranged time, to join us for a couple
of 1-hour sessions to familiarise the children, and
yourself, with the staff and surroundings (no charge).
We are
unable to take a child into the nursery on their start
date, if there has not been at least one prior visit or
relevant admission forms have not been returned to the
nursery.
