Government Nursery Funding & Consumable Charges

We are pleased to offer government-funded early education places for eligible children.

Our nursery accepts funding provided by the UK government, including:

  • Department for Education funded 15 hours entitlement

  • Department for Education funded 30-hour entitlement (for eligible working families)

  • 2-year-old funding (for eligible families)

What the Funding Covers

Government funding contributes towards the cost of your child’s early education and care during funded hours. It is intended to cover the core delivery of high-quality early years provision.

Funding does not cover:

  • Meals and snacks

  • Additional hours outside funded entitlement

  • Extra-curricular activities

  • Special events or trips

  • Consumable items

Consumable Charges

To maintain a safe, stimulating, and well-resourced environment, we apply a small consumable charge to funded sessions.

Consumables include:

  • Snacks, meals and drinks

  • Craft and activity materials

  • Cooking ingredients

  • Sun cream

These charges allow us to continue providing enriching activities and high standards of care.

All consumable charges are clearly explained in our fee structure and parent agreement. We are committed to full transparency, and there are no hidden fees.

We offer a range of government-funded early education places, but the way funding applies can vary depending on your child’s age, eligibility, and your family circumstances.

Because every child’s situation is unique, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your options. Our team can guide you through the available funding, help you understand what is included, and explain any consumable charges that may apply.

This ensures you get the most from your government-funded entitlement while enjoying the full range of services and activities our nursery provides.

If you would like further information about funded places or eligibility, please contact our team — we are happy to help.

Terms and conditions apply. £80.00 registration fee; no fee is payable for funded-only children.

Our nursery fees are reviewed yearly in February; any increase will start in April.
