The nursery offers educational funding for children aged 2,3 and 4 years old.

Under the Government's Nursery Education Funding (NEF) scheme, all three and four year olds are entitled to 570 hours of funded early years education and care each year. This works out as 15 hours each week for 38 weeks of the year term time only.

Some two year olds are also eligible for a funded place. This is all dependant on the parent/guardians personal circumstances please visit www.gov.uk/.../free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds for more information.

30 hours free

Since September 2017 the government are increasing free childcare from 15 hours to 30 hours per week for 3-4 year olds for 38 weeks of the year. This extra funding is only available to parents that are working a minimum of 16 hours per week. We understand that not all parents work term time only and need childcare all year round, we have different options available to meet your working needs. Childcare vouchers

Childcare vouchers are a tax free deduction from your salary to pay towards childcare.  What’s more, both parents can request childcare vouchers, which means your family could save up to £1,866 a year in tax and national insurance! Please see your employee for more details.

Chuckles day nursery accepts all childcare voucher companies.

Tax Free Childcare

The government are introducing a Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) scheme to start from April 2017. The new scheme will allow some working parents (where both parents are working or are single parents) to claim up to £2,000 per child towards the cost of childcare per year.

For every 80p parents transfer to a dedicated online account and spend on regulated childcare, the Government will top this up with 20p, which is capped at up to £2,000 of savings per child per year. This is equivalent to the basic rate of tax.
